Nataliya Kosmyna, a post-doc student at the MIT Media Lab, has created what she calls the “Thinking Cap,” a wearable system using the EPOC+ and a Bluetooth speaker that communicates praise for effort and ability in order to improve the resilience and self-esteem of students wearing it, thus aiming to positively influence their motivation and academic achievements.
