Grant Proposals

Emotiv is committed to accelerating discoveries in neuroscience, cognitive science, and BCI through innovative research partnerships. We are excited to announce the Emotiv NeuroDiscovery Grant Program, designed to support researchers, clinicians, and innovators who are advancing the science of the human brain with Emotiv EEG technology.

What We Offer

Each successful applicant will receive:

Emotiv EEG Technology

Up to $5,000 value in the form of Emotiv headsets and/or software development kit and software licenses

Collaboration Opportunities

Technical support for Emotiv device use.

Opportunities to showcase your work through Emotiv’s global channels.

Eligibility

Open to academic and not-for-profit researchers, clinicians, and graduate students worldwide.

Applicants must demonstrate prior experience or a strong interest in EEG technology

Collaborative, cross-disciplinary projects are strongly encouraged.

Application Process

Submit a Proposal (2-3 pages)

Complete the online application form, which includes:

  • Project title and abstract

  • Research objectives and methods

  • Anticipated outcomes and impact

  • Project personnel and experience to complete the proposed project

Budget and timeline

Review & Selection

Proposals will be reviewed by Emotiv’s Scientific Advisory Panel based on:

  • Scientific quality and innovation

  • Feasibility and clarity of approach

  • Potential for impact and real-world application

  • Alignment with Emotiv values and goals

Award Notification

Selected applicants will be contacted with details of grant awards, equipment allocation, and onboarding to the Emotiv research ecosystem.

Deliverables

Recipients are expected to:

Conduct research in accordance with ethical standards.

Share project outcomes with Emotiv via interim reports and a final summary.
