About the Role
EMOTIV is pioneering neurotechnology with EEG-based solutions that empower researchers, developers, and businesses. We are looking for a Developer Evangelist to engage with our developer ecosystem and provide technical guidance and support. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building developer communities, driving the adoption of our technology, and translating complex concepts into practical applications.


Key Responsibilities
Developer Engagement & Support
● Serve as the primary technical contact for developers integrating EMOTIV’s technology.
● Provide hands-on support, create documentation, and develop tutorials to enhance
adoption.
● Act as a bridge between the developer community and internal teams, ensuring
feedback informs product improvements.
Ecosystem & Partnership Operations
● Manage the day-to-day execution of developer licensing, partnerships, and technical
onboarding.
● Support integration efforts and streamline processes for new and existing partners.
● Track engagement metrics to refine outreach and support strategies.
● Execute and nurture the Ambassador Program, including activities like monthly meetups,
competitions and Ambassadors’ training content.
Collaboration & Community Growth
● Partner with the Content Team to develop educational materials (blogs, videos, articles,
hands-on labs, tutorials etc) that showcase EMOTIV’s technology.
● Support the Director of Ecosystem Partnerships by coordinating logistics for industry
events, hackathons, and conferences, ensuring developer engagement initiatives run
smoothly.
● Assist with event follow-ups, track interactions, and maintain engagement records.
● Build and moderate online forums to foster knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Skills & Other Requirements

● Strong technical background with experience in APIs, SDKs, and software development on Desktop, web, and mobile (Android, iOS).
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
● Experience in developer relations, technical support, or ecosystem partnerships.
● Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working cross-functionally.
● Experience in content development and collaborating with content teams.

Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● 2+ years in developer advocacy, technical evangelism, software engineering, or similar
roles.
● Hands-on experience with programming Desktop, Web, Mobile, APIs, SDKs, and
integration workflows.
● Experienced in creating engaging and effective technical training content, including
hands-on demos and presentations.
● Remote work experience, with availability in Europe and US time zones for collaboration.
● Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
