With the release of Cortex Mobile, our Cortex v2 API is a fully functional replacement for the EMOTIV SDK. The upgrade includes storage and network optimizations, support for the latest generation of headsets, an integrated installer, and many other new features. As a result, we are announcing the end of support for Cortex v1 and all cloud-related APIs in the EMOTIV SDK on December 31, 2020. After that, Cortex v1 applications will no longer function. Applications based on the EMOTIV SDK will no longer sync with the cloud.Please make sure you are using the latest versions of EMOTIV software in order to enjoy all the benefits. You can download the latest updates from your EMOTIV account. A mobile version of EmotivPRO is coming soon and will replace MyEmotiv with an improved experience.If you are an Emotiv developer, please upgrade your application to use the latest version of the Cortex API. We have published notes on upgrading from v1 to v2 and full API documentation.
