Does X-trodes really measure brain activity?
Yes! X-trodes offers three EEG montages designed to measure brain activity, depending on electrode patch placement:
xtr EEG16 – Captures broad cortical activity from the frontal and temporal lobes.
Electrodes: 4 on the forehead, 5 around each ear, and 2 EOG channels for eye movement tracking.
Ground: Bridge of the nose.
xtr EEG12 – Optimized for everyday use, minimizing electrodes while keeping the face clear.
Electrodes: 2 on the forehead, 4 around each ear.
Ground: Back of the neck.
xtr EXG2 – The most compact montage for flexible placement.
Electrodes: 2 electrodes with a ground in between.
For EEG use: Place the patch on the forehead.
