Researchers using the pre-configured cap benefit from faster setup times, ensuring quick and efficient data collection. The pre-configured Flex Saline cap includes the following electrode positions: AFz (DRL), FCz (CMS), Fp1, Fp2, F7, F3, Fz, F4, F8, FT9, FC5, FC1, FC2, FC6, FT10, T7, C3, Cz, C4, T8, CP5, CP1, CP2, CP6, TP9, TP10, P7, P3, Pz, P4, P8, O1, Oz, O2.

Select the right Flex cap size for your Flex kit

For the Flex Gel and Flex Saline Kit, please select a cap size based on head circumference, measured along the line where a hat would sit. Cap sizes increase in 2 cm increments (even numbers). If the measured circumference falls between sizes (an odd number), choose the next larger size.

Example:

  • A head circumference of 52.5 cm to 54.4 cm → Choose size 54

  • A head circumference of 55 cm → Choose size 56

For individuals with long or thick hair, measure over the hair. If the selected cap feels too loose (e.g., Pz electrode not making contact), try the next larger size.
