      Can EMOTIV headsets read Event-Related Potentials?

      EMOTIV technology can read Event-Related Potentials (ERP) (including error-related signals) providing you can position sensors over the region of interest. You can refer to the following reviewed papers that explained how to collect auditory ERP signals from EPOC.

      We recommend either Emotiv EPOC Flex or Emotiv EPOC+ together with an EmotivPRO license to access the EEG data. EPOC Flex allows more flexible placement of sensors including the central line, which is desirable for ERP studies.
