Our techniques include standard metrics (FFT, coherence, pattern matching, spatial mapping) and also some custom methods of our own, based on nonlinear analysis and network reconstruction, as well as our own means to normalise data to suit each individual user and remove artefacts. The methods used vary by detection type. We can't go into more detail, except what you can find on the user forum.

Engagement is not the opposite of Meditation. Meditation is a measure of calmness and clarity, frustration is more multifaceted, detecting both the sense of being overwhelmed and also the disappointment after accepting defeat - this calmer state sometimes correlates with Meditation.

Excitement/ calm

Engagement/ Boredom-disinteres.

Frustration.(is this just opposite of meditation?)
