i decided to buy an headset and the development edition but i wanted to know if there is a new version in development for which i should wait!?! |

Nope, don't wait. Nothing on the short-term hardware horizon except some firmware changes. What do you want to do? If you want to play with the Emotiv detections and games, go for the Developer edition. If you also want to play with raw EEG, go for the Research edition. Both editions also let you play with consumer games and applications.

If you're talking about SDK versions, the time is the same as USA - the hardware is shipping from the Philippines. Usually it takes about 3-4 working days to ship, unless there are customs delays. We are currently shipping from stock - but this won't last much longer. The next production run is about to commence but it will take several weeks, so to all of those out there waiting to order, go ahaead asap or we will be back to 4 weeks plus delay.
Consumer models are not shipping to Australia yet. |
