Emotiv EPOC Brain Activity Map

This application displays a real-time map of your mental activity in four significant brainwave frequency bands. Adjustable gain allows you to see detailed information and relative strengths between different brain regions. Adjustable buffer size allows you to see instant responses or average activity over longer periods.

Delta (0.5-4Hz) - indicating deep sleep, restfulness, and conversely excitement or agitation when delta waves are suppressed

Theta (4-8Hz) - indicating deep meditative states, daydreaming and automatic tasks

Alpha (8-15Hz) - indicating relaxed alertness, restful and meditative states

Beta (15-30Hz) - indicating wakefulness, alertness, mental engagement and conscious processing of information.

Compatible with the Emotiv EPOC consumer headset and SDK developer and research headsets.

How do you determine what apps are mac compatible? I just downloaded this app but it seems to be for a PC - yet there is no indication as such....

Hi Alberto, You can read Testbench files ( .EDF) into the Premium version of the 3d Brain Activity Map. At present there is no way to go back the other way (to read .br into Testbench). We will release a converter next time we upgrade the Premium Brain activity Map.

Hello I have some files recorded with Testbench, I have also the 3D Premium map, can I read the TestBench files in order to map the rawdata recorded with it into the 3D premium map? Thanks Alberto

Since we released the 3D Brain activity Maps we decided to leave the original Brain Activity Map as it is. The added features are in the 3D version

hey how are you, i just have a question..... how can i know if theres an update to this software, or the other apps here??? it will be nice to know the versions here in the page before downloading are there any plans to update this great app with new features?
